  • Fell running in Northern Ireland

Fell running is mountain biking but without the bike – it is mountain running!  This extreme endurance sport has organised events in Northern Ireland where you can test your endurance.  Races vary from 3 km to 20 km and can be held over a variety of terrains and will push the runners to the limits of their endurance.

Due to the terrain, the vast majority of events take place in the Mourne Mountains in County Down but there are also races at Scrabo Hill in County Down, Slieve Gallion in County Tyrone and Binevenagh in County Londonderry.

Obviously a high level of fitness is expected from anyone starting this sport.
